Chula Vista wins the economic award
The city of Chula Vista recently won a silver medal for its We Built THIS economic stimulus campaign, in the Multimedia / Video Promotion category of the International Nonprofit Economic Development Council. The Economic Development Excellence Awards recognize the best economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials and the most influential leaders of the year. The city won the award for its marketing campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic, using a series of videos, advertisements, social media content and graphics created by JPW Communications. The company worked with the city to encourage local residents to âthink smallâ and support local businesses. The various elements of the campaign all drive traffic to an updated explorechulavista.com website featuring multiple small businesses. The campaign was featured on several local television and print media in English and Spanish, gaining over one million impressions.
